Ordering & Pre orders
Q: How do pre orders work?
A: We open pre orders for a limited 4-week period. Once the pre order closes, we manufacture only the copies that have been ordered. Occasionally, extra stock may be released, but this is not guaranteed.
Q: Can I change or cancel my preorder?
A: Because our books are produced based on preorder demand, we're generally unable to make changes, cancellations, or offer refunds once an order has been placed. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Q: Can I pre order multiple copies?
A: Yes! You can select the quantity you’d like during checkout.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: How long will shipping take?
A: Once the pre order window closes, shipping is estimated to take approximately 8 weeks. We will strive to stay within this timeframe and provide real-time updates if shipping estimates change. Delays from suppliers, weather, or unforeseen circumstances may affect delivery.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship anywhere AusPost delivers, which includes over 220 destinations worldwide, such as the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia. Delivery times and costs vary by destination.
Q: Can I track my order?
A: Yes, tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Q: What happens if my order is lost or damaged in transit?
A: Please contact us immediately at support@shadowferneditions.com. We’ll work with you to resolve any issues with lost or damaged packages.
Products & Editions
Q: Are your books signed?
A: Some special editions may include a digitally signed page . Details will be provided on each pre order listing.
Q: Are these editions limited?
A: Yes. We produce only what is ordered during the pre order period, up to a limited number. Occasionally, extra stock may be available, but this is not guaranteed.
Q: Can I request customisations?
A: Customisations are generally not available, though some editions may include special features (like digitally signed pages) as noted on the product listing.
Payments & Pricing
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all payment methods supported by Shopify Payments, including credit/debit cards, as well as PayPal and Afterpay.
Q: Are there additional taxes or import fees for international orders?
A: International orders may incur customs duties or import taxes depending on your country’s regulations. These are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns & Customer Service
Q: What is your returns/exchange policy?
A: Due to the limited-edition and preorder nature of our books, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. If your book arrives damaged or there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Miscellaneous
Q: Are you a subscription service?
A: No. You only purchase the books you want. There are no recurring payments or subscription services.
